Thanks to the U.S. Postal Service's impeccable delivery record, we have received our Secret Santa present before Valentine's Day!! The postmark was December 11, 2007 -- is that speedy delivery or what? But it is kind of nice to keep receiving presents, even after the holidays. MY wonderful gifts are from Lisa and the Pug Posse gang, although I don't understand why they addressed the package to Mommy . . .it's not as if the mailman doesn't know I live here as well.
Mommy insisted on opening the package for me (she doesn't trust me with scissors).

Woo-hoo! I think I found something nice and sweet and smells yummy!
Look at my jackpot! Genuine New Hampshire maple syrup, a delicious-smelling Cinnabon candle, and a truly phat (that's slang for excellent and cool for those without teens in the house) leash. I must say that Willow, Belle, and Turbo were able to teach their parents good taste!
So, Mommy asked to "borrow" the candle (she LOVES candles), and I loaned the maple syrup to Daddy for his pancakes. I told them that I expected the items back . . .
Here I am trying on that leash . . . I look quite fierce in it, no?

Oh Phew! I was ready to hunt down the postmaster! Can you believe it took 2 days shy of a Month to get to you! WOW next time I will have to make sure to send something a Month early to just to get it to you on time! Is this Normal for Packages being sent to Alaska?

Love the gifts....real maple syrup in the best! Believe it or not, I'd never had any until a couple of years ago! And, at first I didn't like it 'cause it wasn't the fake stuff....but now I'm addicted! So much for Aunt Jemima!
