Lookalike

I was looking at this picture the other day and thought we looked quite similar:

Notice the big, round eyes and the robust jowls? Do you see our double chin -- this is a family that LOVES food!

Getting used to the weather

This is a crazy state: yesterday we had tornado warnings and today severe thunderstorm warnings. What?!? We never had any thunderstorms in Ketchikan while I was there; sure it rained 5 out of 6 days, but we had no lightning and thunder. It was so frightening, I ran from the living room to the bedroom when the thunder began. And then tornados?!?! All you puggies that live in the middle of the country are sure brave -- I would rather weather blizzards over tornados any day!

This picture wasn't to show you what a good-looking family we are; look at the sky in the background -- it is turning black! Thunder clouds approaching . . .

Hot!Hot!Hot!

Sorry for the lack of posts, but it's been super hot here. Makes me just want to sleep in my air-conditioned room all day . . . Even my sister has taken to wearing nothing (except her diaper):

Where's her fur?

FLORIDA!!

Wow! You guys are pretty good at this -- almost everyone guessed Florida. Here we are in West Palm Beach, enjoying the sun and the heat . . . a far cry from Alaska. The palm trees and flat land make for a drastic change of pace from the pines and the mountains. Mommy says it is really flat here -- we can practically see the west coast of Florida from this side; she misses the spectacular scenery of Alaska. She also has gotten bitten three times by fire ants and several times by mosquitos, so she is not loving the state so far. I am still trying to get this heat figured out -- I am definitely emptying my water bowl more frequently!

What is this sand stuff?

Instead of mountains in the background, we have tall condo buildings

Guess where . . . Part II

Allright guys -- where am I? Hint, hint: we drove 4,000 miles from Prince Rupert, Canada.
