Wow! You guys are pretty good at this -- almost everyone guessed Florida. Here we are in West Palm Beach, enjoying the sun and the heat . . . a far cry from Alaska. The palm trees and flat land make for a drastic change of pace from the pines and the mountains. Mommy says it is really flat here -- we can practically see the west coast of Florida from this side; she misses the spectacular scenery of Alaska. She also has gotten bitten three times by fire ants and several times by mosquitos, so she is not loving the state so far. I am still trying to get this heat figured out -- I am definitely emptying my water bowl more frequently!

hi Frances! i am not sure if we have met before, but mom reads your blog. Welcome to Florida!! i live in Miami. The heat bothers but if you go on little walks everyday you will get used to it. the bugs... they will not stop bothering :(
ask your mom to take you shopping to Lincoln Rd Mall! I went a few days ago. I hope you enjoy living here as much as I do!!
kisses to you and your little cutie pie sister

Yo Frances! Welcome to the South. My pugs don't really like the heat but they put up with it, so long as they only have to be in it for an hour or so.....then they'd like to be back in the air conditioning!
Yeah! I guessed right!! The hibiscus in the background of the picture helped give it away, I think. Sorry about the heat and bugs. Sadly, it will only get worse until October or November. But, you'll probably love the winter here!!
Oh wow what a huge move! :) You look incredible infront of the condos and the sand. :)
Hi Frances! Mom says to tells you she lived in Deerfield Beach - a little ways down the road, just south of Boca - for a year. She did not likes it, but we's hoping you and your peoples do!
Mom says go to Key West before it gets TOO hot and stop on Grassy Key for a dolphin burger (the fish, not the mammal)!
Wow, that is definitely quite a change. Hope you get accustomed to the heat soon. I bet you won't see any whales in Florida. Unless it's at Disney.

wow! What a huge change in scenery! Did this move have anything to do with the recent arrival of your little sis??? hmmmmmm......
Wow quite the move. I was born in Alaska and all my family is from up there. Juneau and Fairbanks. But I lived in FL for a few years and loved it. We were in Boca Raton and I really loved that area and WPB. Lucky pugger you are. My parents now have a place in FL and AK hehe. Best of both worlds, your right though it is really flat!!!
I now live in Toronto, hmmmm Hope to get back to the tropical weather for vaction this winter. My pug has never seen the ocean, but likes the water. Hope you have fun swimming and keep an eye on your lil sister.
I commented yesterday but it didn't show up. Better get your sunscreen SPF 50 and bikini out since the hot weather is here til December! Thanks goodness for AC for you little pugs. Are you permanently??
