Truce

Since my parents have decided to stay with my grandmother for a few weeks, I have had to put up with my grandmother's rat -- I mean chihuahua. I find this situation somewhat distasteful as I normally do not associate with rodents. However, since it looks like I will be on the East Coast for several weeks, I have sucked it up and declared a truce with the rat-chihuahua creature. The picture shows us peacefully cohabitating the same space . . . but I warn you rat-chihuahua creature, don't get too used to this!

Hello Miss Frances:

I'm sorry that you have to put up with the funny looking creature. I think he's mooching off your warm spots. Does he steal your bed when you get up? Suspicious.

You tell him, Frances. Besides, you are BIG sister, so you rank higher on the food chain than he does.

I agree with Roxy. Make sure this rodent like creature knows that Pugs rule the roost!

How goes your new baby sister? How is everything?

We's glad you made the truces but I says watch your back! That picture tells quite a story and that story goes like this:

Frances Louise: Ok mom and dad, I'll be good and put up with the rat.

Rat: Yeah, I'll be good while everyone is awake but there's no guarantee this pug will still be here when you wake up.

Hey Frances,

We hate to tell you this but the rat is pretty cute. And you guys are kind of the same color - well, okay you match. Looks like you belong together. (Mommy made us write that. We side with you. We have a stinky little rat in our neighborhood who comes into OUR yard just when he feels like it).
