I can't help it!

Sorry about the long interval between posting, but things have been a bit busy here. We arrived safely in Ketchikan after a long ferry ride. My sister has taken to Alaskan life pretty well (I say that with a wry smile as she has only left the house twice since we returned almost two weeks ago).

My parents told about the awful snow/ice storms alot of my blogging friends have been having this past week. I feel for all you guys. It sounds funny to say, but I am glad I am back in Alaska; our temperatures have been in the mid to upper 20s, but clear and beautiful!

I have also been trying to get adjusted to life with a new sibling, you know, testing my limits and so forth. One of my absolute favorite things to do is lick my Daddy's head, face, hands, feet, you name it! I thought I would welcome my new sis into the family by doing the same thing . . .

Well, it all started fine. Here I am licking away while she gets her diapers changed (hey, I thought I was doing my parents a favor by distracting the little brat)

Hmmm, I think I may have carried this too far. Mommy was not happy.

Wha?! What did I do?

oh, Frances! You were just trying to be a good big sissy - those little tiny beans are so fickle! She'll warm up to the licking thing eventually.

Poor Frances. You sister just doesn't understand how much you love her. When she gets older we are sure she will appreciate you more.
