Smoking the Cigar

Nothing much has been happening in Alaska-land. It has (surprise!) gotten really cold and has snowed and snowed. Mommy's latest complaint is that the powers-that-be here neither plow nor salt the roads; they leave it up to the passing cars to pack the snow down on the road. Mommy was spoiled when we lived in NYC -- the sanitation crews there did a pretty decent job clearing the city streets.
So, I spend most of my time inside, amusing myself by destroying my stuffed babies, chewing on my chew-sticks, or begging for food. Daddy thinks it looks like I am smoking a cigar when I have the chew-sticks in my mouth:

Surgeon General's warning: smoking is hazardous to your health. Do not smoke if you are pregnant, around children, or at any time in your life . . .

Of course, all the starlets in Hollywood smoke . . . I think they are a bad influence on our kids (that's my little social conscience input)

I just love this stuff!

Hi Frances. Daddy has lots to say about the plowing in our home town, or lack thereof. He does not like the job they do at all. Ah well, can't have everything, I guess. Stay warm.
