We are now in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. It is just as tiring for me, sitting there and helping Mommy read the maps and eat the snacks.

Mom would go nuts if she had to drive as far as you are. As for waking up so early, at least you can sleep in the car.

Yes that is quite a drive!
The hubby was working in Atlin, BC and routinely had to drive equipment back to Vancouver. Last time there were two main road closures, he had to take a lovely day long detour through Alberta!
It is beautiful country and lots and lots wildlife!!

I love long road trips if my husband drives. when he gets tired and asks me to drive, I only last for 30 minutes. then I fall asleep - while driving. This happens always and he complains, but I can't help it!

OH, I'm so glad you got to take a trip with your folks. It looks beautiful and cold up there! I bet there are lots of smells along the way. I'm looking forward to seeing more of what you are seeing!

Whoa! What a drive. But what great pictures. Mommy has been to the Rockies but she didn't make it to Jasper because she took the wrong turn off when she was there and ended up in the next province. LOL
