Comfy by the Fire

My parents have been reading about the frigid weather in the Midwest and the East Coast. Whew! Glad we moved to Alaska; for the past week we have been in the mid- to high 40s and relatively sunny. Daddy invites all our puggy friends living in Minnesota, Illinois, New York, New England, etc. to come up to Alaska to warm up!

Even though it has been mild during the day, the temperatures can drop to around freezing in the evenings. That is why you will find my lounging in front of the fireplace on most nights:

I am very comfortable and toasty

Just wake me up for dinner . . .

Thanks Frances, I may take you up on that offer. It is supposed to warm up to the low 30's here Thursday. That is a heat wave vompared to the -13 F last Friday. And the snow! Two more inches last night, for a total of 10!
When's spring?

My friend SassyDog sent me the link to your blog. Francis Louise - you are a riot. My mom and I have been reading your posts, and she had to go get some tissues, cause she laughed so hard, that she head tears running down her face. (I'm having my mom type this for me, since keyboards aren't paw friendly.) We have a stinking rat, er, I mean Chihuahua, that lives a couple of houses over, and Yap yap yap yap, all the time. Like anyone cares what he has to say. I'm feeling for you having to potty in the snow...I prefer to use my little box anytime the temp drops below 75. If I had to go out in the freezing cold,I'm afraid that my tail might uncurl, freeze and fall off!
Come by my mom's site...once in a while, she puts up really great photos of me. (Personally, I think that the only reason people come take a peek, is so that they can get a chance to check me out!!!)
