Recycle, recycle

First, I want to fulfill a request by rpm. She wanted to see the destroyed hedgehog (yes! that stuffed toy finally succumbed ), so here he is. It might be hard to see, but he is completely de-stuffed and is now *sob* buried with all the ceremony befitting a respected foe. . .

I have been watching my parents recycle soda cans and cardboard boxes for some time now . . . I asked them why they didn't simply throw them in the garbage can. Daddy told me that humans are slowly destroying the environment and that Mommy and Daddy are trying to help in small ways. So in true puggy spirit, I decided to chip in. I know I have blogged before about my destructive abilities with stuffed toys, but I was just thinking about how wasteful that was. I mean, I would destroy a toy and plop! it goes in the garbage and my parents buy me a new one. But no more! I have decided to recycle parts of the toys:

This is my latest victim -- note the grusome partially decapitated head

This is the fluff from that head that normally would get tossed in the garbage

No more waste! Here I am attacking the fluff

Who needs actual stuffies when you can play with the fluff? Die, fluff, die!!

Just call me Miss Environmentalist. Al Gore, eat your heart out!

My dogs do the same thing. I hate all that stuffing littered all over the house. You should post it here - http://www.recyclethis.co.uk/. They might come up with some good ideas for it.

Hi Frances!
Good work on your recycling! Maybe you could make an instructional video about saving the environment.
I love your fluff-attacking pictures. :)
Love Clover xo

Thank you Frances for showing the defluffed Hedggie...he deserved it, I'm sure. Are you sure there are plenty of replacements way up there where you are? It must be all that darkness making the aggression come out in you!

Hi Frances!
You are a puggy genius! You get two thumbs up for your recycling. You should get the green pug award! I will ask my momma to make you one. :)
She painted another puggy today. She said she will post it tomorrow. I like it. It is a very happy pug baby.
