The Snow Has Melted

Now, I am not a meteorologist, yet I find it strange how some of my blogging pals up in the Northeast have gotten way more snow than us here in Alaska. We have had one big snowstorm last month, and then some intermittent fluffy stuff that turned to slush and now has all melted. Our temperature was in the mid-40s yesterday! Not that I am complaining; no siree! To celebrate the relatively balmy weather, we went for a brief stroll . . .

Me showing off my climbing prowess. I wanted to practice my log-rolling skills

Look at me! I am on top of the world!

Uh, how do I get down from here?

Daddy, a little help here?!?

Alright, I am outta here . . .

Have a great weekend!

Seriously? How is that we have more snow than you? well I hate to bust a surprise but we are your secret Santa and it seems that the snow seriously put a damper on getting your package out to you! we sent it out on the 14th of December and it appears you still have not recieved it? wonder where it went. Could you please email me to see If I have your correct mailing address?

Wow that looks adventurous! I am glad you were able to get down from that big log. That must have been scary!

Frances does not want to go outside right now!
I have to give her the sad Daddy look.

Hi Frances!
We have had record breaking amounts of snowfall this year, and I am having a lot of fun with it. I can send you some if you want - but I had better hurry because they are calling for pretty warm temperatures next week and I am afraid the snow will all melt!

You are a great climber. I think I would like to join you outside, if it were warmer.
Mom says all this snow is what they used to get when she was growing up. And we always get a deep freeze in January. But now mom wants it to be over. And so do I.
